By Phoenix Plumbing, water drain lines No Comments

If water’s not going from your home or business thru the drain lines, you might have a clogged sewer line or a cracked drain line. We can help. We use the latest technology to detect and locate leaks in your underground lines. For example, we’ll place a camera through your drainage system to find any and all problems and mark them for repair. The images show us the overall condition of your sewer line, and give us a detailed view of what’s going on inside your lines.

Sewer / Drain Line FAQs

I was told that my drain line is the old orange berg pipe, and I am having problems with stoppages. What are my next steps?

We suggest with this type of line you replace the entire sewer line. Once you start having problems with it, you will continue having problems to a point that it will totally collapse.

I have tree roots in my sewer drain line. What can I do?

You have two options: Option 1 is to keep cleaning the drain line until it stops up permanently. Option 2 is to replace or repair the old line with a new ABS line that will withstand tree-root penetration.

I have a blue poly water line that keeps breaking. What should I do to keep that from happening?

We suggest that you replace any older blue poly water line with a new copper water service to eliminate any further problems.

My PVC water service keeps breaking. Should I replace it?

Yes, PVC pipe should be replaced with a new copper water service.

How much does it cost to replace a sewer drain line or water service?

It depends on a number of different factors because every water service line can be different. Call us for a free estimate on your next drain line repair or replacement. We’ll measure the line and check for utility obstructions before giving you a written plumbing estimate.
